Rubber and Athletic Floors

Rubber and athletic floors are being incorporated into residential gyms and work-out rooms.  They will accommodate weights unintentionally being dropped on them, provide foot comfort and have a sound deadening quality.  Some of the new rubber floor designs can be loose laid with interlocking keys between the panels that allows for the tiles to be easily removed if damaged.

Rubber floors that are installed with epoxies require proper ventilation, understanding the health hazards that go with epoxy adhesives.  They should only be done by qualified installers.  An alternative is to use the interlocking tiles.

Commercial uses of rubber floors also include workout areas, perfect for gyms or your own companies work-out area.
